Name: Takchawee meaning "Dove."
Age: 17
Celeb: Q'orianka Kilcher
Ethnicity: Native
Job: Basket Weaver
Residence: Sioux Tribe
Weapons:
Takchawchee has a small knife so she can defend herself, though it's not shown proudly. She doesn't normally use it unless she absolutely has to, or if it's to cut hide, etc. It is hidden in a small pouch she carries around.
She also has a medium sized bow, also something she was given to defend herself with. Takchawee rarely uses that, either, for most of the time, she has no uses for it.
Appearance:
Takchawee isn't large, but very small. She is 5'5, and has a skinny body. It's not underfed, but it's a female build. She hasn't many muscles, due to she doesn't train or hunt, but some are clustered in her arms from gathering wood. Her hands are very skilled, but are often full of cuts and scratches because of her duties. She has a darker complexion because Takachwee is Sioux, but very beautiful. Her hair is long and black, but is most often kept in a long braid to keep it out of her face while working. In it is decorated with small beads, and a very skinny leather strap is around it to hold feathers and such.
Her face is long, but very beautiful, and her eyes are a dark brown. Around her wrist she wears a beaded bracelet with leather straps, it's tan, and somewhat shiny.
Takchawee also wears a soft deerskin dress that goes down to her ankles. Down the arms and the bottom are small deer strips that are very skinny, only for decoration. On the front, there's a blue cover that stops right below her chest. On it is adorned with many different, colorful decorations. On her feet, she wears tan, leather mocassins. They're nothing special, just shoes.
Personality:
Takchawee is very shy, and is soft spoken. Hardly ever will you hear her give her opinion, not that they'd allow it anyways. She is also very gentle, she'd be a great mother. You will often see her with horses, because she loves them, and treats mother nature with much respect. Most of the time, she has a gentle smile on her face, but will also be very serious if she has to. This maiden also enjoys being with the children of the tribe, and loves them, which would also make her a great mother. Most often, you will hear her singing to herself, her voice is beautiful, and is very soothing, much like her voice in talking.
As for fighting, she's not allowed to, since she's a woman, but can defend herself fairly well. She is not afraid of men, but if they attack, like the white people, they have guns, so Takchawee gets very scared around them. As for trusting, she doesn't trust much, unless she really knows the person. Often, she's alone making baskets.
History:
Takchawee was born in this same tribe, 17 years ago in the summertime, when you often see doves. It was a nice morning out, and very beautiful. Her mother a few complications, though, and a few afters after Takchawee was born, her mother died. She didn't know any better, and she never really knew what a mother was from there. Her father never could care for her, though, since he was always hunting and taking care of the tribe. In her very early teens, he went to war, and never came back. Takchawee never felt much for him, since she was always with the village women who'd taken care of her after her mother died. She wasn't stricken with grief, only a little sad. He was her father, after all.
Ever since then, Takchawee's mainly been on her own, weaving baskets, collecting wood, and taking care of the small children. She often tells them stories, and will be seen playing with them when she's done with her chores. If not with them, she will most likely be off in the forest somewhere, enjoying herself by singing, and overlooking wild horses on giant bluffs. Sadly, though, she has no horses, so plays with the tribe's different horses. Takchawee's too busy with everything she does everyday, so she doesn't have time to get one herself. She hopes she can have one in the near future, though.
