Weapons: Colt Army Model 1860, Colt M1855, M1860 Light Cavalry Sabre

Grizzled and a mans man, he lets his curly blonde hair hang loose, and it is almost always covered by a frontiersman's cap. History: Born in Ohio to a working class family, before attending Westpoint Military Academy, he taught schoolchildren in Ohio. It's said that he was able to get into the academy because of the influence of a prominent resident who wanted to keep Custer away from his daughter.
Graduating at the last of his class, Custer believed that he would recieve a poor post, but as the Civil War had just started, there was a need for officers.
Throughout the war he had a distinguished record, becoming the second lieutennant in the 2nd US Cavalry, and then later being transfered to the 5th Cavalry.
Persuading a colonel to allow him to attack with four companies across the Chickahominy River during the Peninsula Campaign of 1862. The attack was succesful, and custer captured 50 Confederates, which lead to the praise of the attack being a "very gallant affair". Custer then being promoted as an aide-de-camp with a temporary position of captain.
Throughout the war, Custer recieved other numerous honours and victories, and was now sent out to the west to subjugate the Indians and it was during this time around 1868 that he was known as "Squaw Killer" by the Cheyenne for killing three women and six children. Now being in Western Canyon City, he was prepared to remove the Cheyenne settlement here, and bring about peace and reform to the west.
(Originally posted this before, but lost it so had to do it again. BTW great site. I was thinking on making one like this, but now that I've found this one I don't have to. Also for the record everyone, I'm a Canadian who is interested in American history, most notably this era.)
